I have a bass I want to avoid selling, as I like the look and feel of it, and it was also a gift, but I’m getting tired of the rather thin, lifeless tone.

I’m thinking of trying an electronics upgrade, but how do I decide wheather it’s my pickups or preamp that should go?

I’ve just bought a 32W4000 and now as Im setting it up im having a bit of a problem - I cant get 1:1 Pixelmapping it seems :/ … If I choose 1920×1080 through the windows XP display properties sheet, the picture I get is "too big" - meaning that it stretches about 5% beyond the TV’s display area - it doesnt fit. I can correct this by using the Nvidia control panel and choosing the "resizing HDTV desktop" tab - but the picture I get then isnt 1:1 - im pretty sure of that. The screen does fit alot better ofc, but if i drag a window across the desktop slowly, it looks like the text changes sizes - meaning that the contours of the individual letters become thicker and thinner nad more/less blurry aswell.

It doesnt look like 1:1 pixelmapping to me - -have I missed something or am I setting it up right?

i´ve registered this forum only to say that i´m very dissapointed about their decission of cancelling their shows in spain and portugal. i´ve had already bought my tickets and not so for that, what about my illusion and then dellusion, mines and of many others like me that were waiting to see the band. i think opeth is a great band but that kind of things get a stain on their career eventhough they´re not guilty.
promoters and producers please leave this world and let the bands play free where they will
no more cancelled shows, please.

i saw one of these for sale near me yesterday for what seemed to be a really good price. i definitly don’t need it and don’t need to spend the money either but i was wondering what the going rate is for these.

it’s lake placid blue with a Gotoh bridge, barts and passive electronics. there are one or two dings in the finish/clear coat on the headstock and it looks like it has allowed a bit of air under there since the finish on that area is slightly cloudy. other than that it seemed to be in good shape

it was priced well under a grand. so lets hear it, what is the going rate for these
